FreshDrumsticks Leaves / Murunkai Keerai
Product Description
Drumstick / Moringa leaves are small, oval, with leaflets averaging 1-2 centimetres in length and 0.5-1 centimetres in width. The vibrant green feathery leaflets are smooth, thick, and firm, and grow in a tripinnate structure. Drumstick leaves are a slightly bitter flavour with grass-like undertones and can often have a horseradish-like heat. During the cooking process, they release a distinct grassy aroma.
Moringa has many important vitamins and minerals. The leaves have 7 times more vitamin C than oranges and 15 times more potassium than bananas. It also has calcium, protein, iron, and amino acids, which help your body heal and build muscle.
